BlockBar is a blockchain-authenticated auction platform for direct, secure trading of premium spirits and wines, ensuring absolute authenticity straight from the producers.
My primary objective was to create a detailed MVP prototype using Figma, dividing work into 6 week long sprints, following Lean UX principles. I worked in a cross-functional team, emphasizing rapid prototyping and continuous feedback between team members and stakeholders.

Personas
Sketches
For BlockBar's visually impactful screens, I explored numerous ideas through sketching and collaborative 'crazy 8' exercises with my team. This process generated a wide variety of concepts, from which we selected the most compelling design. The design was then refined into detailed wireframes and mockups.
Wireframes
For most of BlockBar's pages, we utilized Figma to create wireframes, employing reusable components for rapid iteration on the less visually complex screens. This method streamlined the design process, allowing for efficient refinement and evolution of the user interface while maintaining a focus on functionality and aesthetic balance.
Hi-Fidelity Screens and protypes
In crafting BlockBar's high-fidelity mockups, I combined luxury with modern minimalism, employing soft edges and smooth animations for a premium user experience. The chosen color palette, typography, and imagery reflect the exclusivity of the high-end spirits market.
A crucial aspect of the design involved the strategic implementation of animations and nuanced transitions, enhancing the overall sense of luxury and sophistication.
